I am delighted to write a letter endorsing your workshop! I asked you to be the keynote speaker for our annual Betterliving Sunrooms marketing seminar after attending your Contractors’ Conference sponsored by MarketSharp last summer. What I learned from you has influenced how my company writes ads for our dealers. How rarely we get to hear about the psychology of writing marketing messages! And you communicated the information a way that influences our thinking about how we market. We wanted the other marketing people in our dealer network to have the benefit of your expertise.
Anne (graphic designer) and I (copywriter) have worked together developing marketing materials for our dealer group for twenty years. Successfully, I have to add, since our program has grown in size and volume year over year. But the competition for people’s attention gets tougher all the time, and your workshop last June not only energized us to create our materials a little differently, but also helped us understand the reason why. We now look at our marketing messages from a different point of view, and have actively put what we learned from you into practice. You really are a good presenter. Our attendees rated your presentation a strong 4.5 on a 1-5 scale. Several wrote comments reflecting topics covered in your presentation as “one of the things they know now that they didn’t know before coming to the seminar.” Your stories are engaging, memorable, and elucidate the message, so stop apologizing for telling so many!

I had never heard you speak before we invited you to our Incentive Trip in Cabo for our top dealers. Dear Rich:
I am writing to let you know how much I appreciated your presentation on marketing at the Replacement Contractor Executive Conference. As you know, conference attendees at RCEC pay roughly $1000 to attend, and the level of expectation as concerns speakers and presentations is extremely high. In addition, there is my need, as the person who programs the conference, to find the right balance of speakers on selling and marketing, speakers whose content is not only relevant to attendees but immediately applicable to their businesses. They come wanting a great deal and the bar has been set rather high by past conferences.
Given all this, you did not disappoint. I appreciated not only your total grasp of the subject-marketing-and your well-organized material, but the dry wit you employed in presenting the material as well as your confidence and poise on the stage. We were lucky to have several truly excellent presenters at that conference, including Rodney Webb and Michael Hoffman, and I would say your presentation definitely ranked with theirs.
